About Rabbi Yoni Birnbaum
Rabbi Yoni Birnbaum was born in London and has been Rabbi of the Hadley Wood Jewish Community since 2010. He is an alumnus of the world-renowned Ponovezh Yeshiva in Israel and received his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He holds a law degree from the Open University, and an MA (with distinction) in Jewish Studies from University College, London, where he is currently studying for a PhD on the interface between inclusivism and Orthodox Judaism. He is a regular contributor to local and national media, sits on the Rabbinical Council of the United Synagogue and is a member of the Associate Faculty of the London School of Jewish Studies.
