Delve into the fascinating history behind some of the earliest manuscripts of the Pesach Haggadah in existence.
Within the legendary treasure trove of documents discovered in the Ben Ezra Synagogue in Old Cairo are copies of early forms of the Haggadah – including some hidden surprises. Revealing the meaning behind these texts, which we will analyse together in their original format, will help inspire and inform your Seder this year.

About Rabbi Yoni Birnbaum
Rabbi Yoni Birnbaum was born in London and has been Rabbi of the Hadley Wood Jewish Community since 2010. He is an alumnus of the world-renowned Ponovezh Yeshiva in Israel and received his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. He holds a law degree from the Open University, and an MA (with distinction) in Jewish Studies from University College, London, where he is currently studying for a PhD on the interface between inclusivism and Orthodox Judaism. He is a regular contributor to local and national media, sits on the Rabbinical Council of the United Synagogue and is a member of the Associate Faculty of the London School of Jewish Studies.
